Day 01: International Arrival La Paz

Day 02: La Paz Leisure day La Paz City - Moon Valley & Tiawanaku
After breakfast free day for aclimate You can visit on your own cultural, historical, architectural, and natural wealth. Visiting The Square Murillo, Cathedral, Palace of Government, Church of San Francisco, Viewer of Quilli Quilli, Gold Museum, Market of the Witches and the Valley of the Moon, located to 15 Km. of the city. The erosion has achieved after the years to form a group of astonishing stony formations that give the visitor the sensation of having discovered an unknown world. A true one and almost " Real " lunar landscape. Then can go on through a highway asphalted Tiawanaku, located to 72 Km . of the city of the La Paz , arrival and we make the visit to the Museums " Lithic and Ceramic " and later on visit the Archaeological place of Tiawanaku and their main ceremonial centres as: The Pyramid of Akapana, Semi-underground Temple, Temple of Kalasasaya, The Door of the Sun, etc. The time of the guided visit is of 2 and a half hours, to the finish of our visit we will back to our Hotel or Hostal

Day 03: La Paz - Uyuni Salt Lake - Island of The Fish - San Juan
After Breakfast, Transfer to La Paz Airport for your fly to Uyuni upon arrival transfer to the office for our departure to the biggest Salt Desert, in mobility ( Land Cruiser - 4x4 ) In the itinerary you visit: " The Island of the Fish " populated by numerous giant cacti with heights superior to the 10 meters, from the summit you can contemplate the wonderful landscape of Salting. After our visit to the island we will have lunch and in the afternoon we will continue to San Juan's Population where we will spend the night at Family homes. Island Incahuasi ( Island of the Fish ). Located amid the desert of salt, the Island generally well-known as Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, shared jeep + accommodation at Family Homes. The population of Colchani. - Located to the banks of the great Salt Lake, it serves from main entrance to the desert of salt, also known as " Dry Port ", where the intense activity of extraction of salt is observed in handmade form. The residents taught us the drying process, milled and pocketed of the salt, clever for the consumption, after the visit we will continue with the same transport when and to be able to visit: Hotel of Salt. - Located in the middle of Salt Lake, built with blocks of salt, so much external as interior, walls, floor, beds, tables, seats, everything of salt with a beautiful view of the Salt Lake, nowadays it can be visited as a museum. In the afternoon we will arrive to San Juan or Chuvica, spend the night and dinner.

Day 04: San Juan - Lagoons - Red Lagoon
we leave to Green lagoon - located to the feet of the volcano Llicancabur, to a height of 4.350 m.a.s.l., the green colour owes itself high content of magnesium that possesses the geologic formations of the area, after our visit to the green lagoon, then we continue to the thermal waters - Polques, there we have lunch, break, then continue to the Red Lagoon our adventure going to Lagoons, visiting in the itinerary the active volcano Ollague, the lagoons of Cañapa, Stinking, Chiarcota and Sling, lagoons that are populated by flamingos, in the afternoon we will continue our journey passing the desert of Siloli where we will observe an interesting rock formation well - known as the Tree of Stone spend the night and dinner.

Day 05: Red Lagoon - Green Lagoon - Uyuni - La Paz
at 05.00 am wake up call. Leave Laguna Colorada early to make it to the first stop which is Sol de Mañana. Here we will see the geisers at full strength ( thanks to the early cold morning air ! ) A stop at the bubbling fumorols is like visiting another planet. Next stop is the Hot springs ( breakfast provided ) a quick dip in these natural bath will warm you soul and recharge your inner batteries. From the Laguna Challviri hot springs we will drive towards the Laguna Verde passing through the surreal desert of Salvador Dali. ( wild rock formations on the left ! ) Arriving at Laguna Verde before 10am we will be able to see the volcano Lincacabur guarding the laguna. Next stop is the border transfer for those heading to Chile. Bolivian companies cannot enter Chile and vice versa so there is a swop at the border near Laguna Verde. From Laguna Verde we head back towards Uyuni. Those wishing for a 4 day journey will spend the night in Villa Mar in a rustic lodge and return to Uyuni leisurely on day 4. Those wishing to do it all in 3 days will come back to Uyuni via San Cristobal and arrive approximately at 17.00 p.m. Transfer to Uyuni Airport for your fly to La Paz, arrive transfer to the selectd hotel

Day 06: La Paz - Puno via Copacabana
Early land transfer to Copacabana Sanctuary, board the Catamaran Cruise Ship, lunch while sailing to Sun Island, the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain then the Inti Wata Cultural Complex including the Ekako Underground Museum, the traditional medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders display centers, the Pachamama agricultural Inca terraces, a handicraft center, the Intica lounge and at the Manco Kapac look out, the largest variety of Andean cameloids. Also, the Inti Wata Complex at Sun Island includes a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka Traditional vessel to enjoy a panoramic visit of the Pilkakaina Inca Palace. Day 07: Puno: Titicaca Lake, Floating Islands of The Uros and Taquile Island - Puno
Early in the morning, we will have an unforgettable by tourist motorboat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique " Floating Islands " of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their own "Islands" by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed called " Totora " ( Scirpus Totora ), vegetable fibre of the Papyrus family. Their homes and boats are also made from this material. We continue our motorboat trip to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua - Speaking Natives who have developed, down through generations, an efficient and unique social system, as well as fine hand weaving techniques. It is necessary to go up a stairway of more than 567 steps - steps of stone that wind their way among green platforms - to arrive at the Town of Taquile where we will have a break to eat. After lunch in a local Taquile Inn, we have a walk through the various hills and archaeological sites of this 6 km long Island. In the afternoon, return to Puno for overnight at your hotel. Evening free.

Day 08: Puno - Cusco ( 389 kms = 08 hrs )
Breakfast. Early departure by bus to the City of Cusco. We travel along the High Plateau of Collao, stopping at the Town of Ayaviri, an important livestock and textile centre, to visit the impressive Temple of Kalasaya, ruins from the ancient Pucara Culture. On the way, we stop in Raqchi, where we can see a spectacular Inca Sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec, and dedicated to the great Inca God of Wiracocha. It has a great central wall with a stone base of fine Inca architecture. Other walls are made of giant adobe bricks. The structure also has two circular lateral columns. Around the Temple are several buildings once used for housing and storage. About 70 km further on, we pass through the La Raya Ranch where we can see troops of vicuñas and llamas. During the trip, we pass by the lovely Wacarpay Lake, offering spectacular views of the mountains reflected in its calm waters. We proceed to the beautiful Town of Andahuaylillas, and visit the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to its decorated polychrome ceiling. Buffet lunch in a quiet countryside restaurant, where we can enjoy the delightful culinary art of the Region. Upon arrival in Cusco, meet and transfer to your hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 09: Cusco: Sightseeing tour and nearby Ruins
Breakfast. Morning at leisure or we will take a visit by your own Street San Blas The artistic barrio ( Neighborhood ) of narrow and high streets beautiful little plaza and a beautiful paqcha exists; in this barrio numerous artists and artisans reside, there are located the workshops of famous artisans such as the family Mendevil Olave and merida, Panoramic views of Cusco City, Hatunrumivoc is located close to Plaza Nazarenas, not far from Plaza de Armas, It s a narrow pedestrian street. Famous for it's Inca walls where huge stones are precisely carved to fit together without mud or concrete. You'll find the masterpiece, a 12 Angled Stone, about halfway down the street The Inca stonework was incredible, actually so good that Spanish conquerors often used the old Inca structure as foundations for their own buildings. Hatunrumiyoc is a great place too have a closer look at their skills.
leisure The Central Market or Mercado de San Pedro is one of the oldest of Cusco, founded in 1925; despite its age it had no significant changes , but it still remains the largest center of concentration and supply of the city . The San Pedro Market in Cusco sits about an eight minute walk south from Plaza de Armas but couldn't be more different!! On the walk to it you'll generally notice more and more street vendors and ladies in traditional dress sitting on the side of the streets selling nuts, popcorn and other small bags of dried foods. You'll spot more and more local shops ( Tiendas ) selling the most random of things all in the one tienda. If you're looking for an alpaca jumper, a freshly made juice, a bag of nectarines, some plantains to fry, buttifaras ( Ham sandwiches served on French bread ) or some cheesy gifts for your parents or friends back home you're definitely on your way to the right place !
In the afternoon, we will have a guided sightseeing tour of Cusco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco and famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9m / 30ft high and weighing over 350 tons.

Day 10: Cusco: Sacred Valley of The Incas - Santa Maria
Early morning excursion to the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit to the picturesque Indian Pisac Market held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, the shopping paradise of the Andes where barter is still practiced. Enjoy the unique atmosphere during a typical lunch. In the afternoon, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. You can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea of what this strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire
We continue the journey along a winding ascent toward the Abra Malaga and the snowy veronica is located at an altitude of 4,316 meters where we can enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Cusco geography. After a short break of 15 minutes in the Abra Malaga, the descent into the jungle of the Inca trail through the different climates that combine the paradisiacal landscapes of majestic snow to the hot jungle of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is undertaken. To the height of Alfamayó find an Inca trail in admirable condition fully paved. Place where begins the process of asphalt road, continue towards the district of Santa Maria; Located at an altitude of 1,575 meters

Day 11: Santa Maria - Santa Teresa
At 07.00 am wake up finds you shrouded in the mists of the jungle. After a hearty breakfast your day starts with a short but intense climb to start your section of an authentic Inka Trail. As you wind up and down precipitous cliffs over a stunning valley your guide will transport you to the time of the Incas, revealing some of what little we do know from this ancient and amazing culture. The trail descends to Quellomayo where the group will stop for lunch and have some time to relax in hammocks. Keep an eye out for natural fruit, especially the taste explosion that is maracuya ( passion fruit ). After lunch the trek continues along the surging Urubamba river, crossing it at one point in a cart and pulley ( safe yet thrilling ! ).
Then we can walk for 30' to Santa Teresa Hot Spring Constructed on the slopes of the mountain and on the banks of the Urubamba River, the thermal water complex has three pools, of different sizes and depths, which are supplied with medicinal water that varies between 40°C and 44°C. The thermal baths of Santa Teresa differ mainly from the other springs of peru because of its crystalline waters. These medicinal waters possess properties to treat cutaneous ulcers, bone pain and rheumatism. In the thermal baths you can also submerge under cold streams from the Uripata lagoons, which provides a comforting sensation. At the bottom of the pools there is soft sand and around the pools we can contemplate rocks, vegetation, the sound of the river and the mountain. The thermal baths of Santa Teresa are fully equipped with bathrooms, showers, dressing rooms, soccer fields, space for camping, cafeteria, kiosk for food and beverage supply and a viewpoint. It also has a hydromassage system. It is a very pleasant place to rest after extensive walks such as Machu Picchu and Choquequirao

Day 12: Santa Teresa - Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Town)
This day we will take a car to Machupicchu Hydroelectric Station it's taking us 30' drive to continue the journey of adventure, those who wish to walk are three hours of Hydroelectric to Aguas Calientes "Town of Machu Picchu"; where we will place in our respective assigned hotels in this itinerary tours to Machu Picchu will have some free time

Day 13: Aguas Calientes - Huayna Picchu - Machupicchu - Sun Gate - Cusco
The day starts with an early morning rise to Bus Station for a 20' journey to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as " The Lost City of the Incas ". bus drive, climbing 6 km of winding road, to the incredible site of Huayna Picchu also known as Wayna Picchu ( Quechua " Young Peak " The number of daily visitors allowed to enter Huayna Picchu is restricted to 200 is a mountain in Peru around which the Urubamba River bends. It rises over Machupicchu, the so - called lost city of the Incas, and divides it into sections. The Incas built a trail up the side of the Huayna Picchu and built temples and terraces on its top. The peak of Huayna Picchu is about 2,720 meters ( 8,920 ft ) above sea level, or about 360 meters ( 1,180 ft ) higher than Machu Picchu. According to local guides, the top of the mountain was the residence for the high priest and the local virgins.
Machupicchu Every morning before sunrise, the high priest with a small group would walk to Machu Picchu to signal the coming of the new day. The Temple of the Moon, one of the three major temples in the Machu Picchu area, is nestled on the side of the mountain and is situated at an elevation lower than Machu Picchu. Adjacent to the Temple of the Moon is the Great Cavern, another sacred temple with fine masonry. The other major local temples in Machu Picchu are the Temple of the Condor, Temple of Three Windows, Principal Temple, " Unfinished Temple ", and the Temple of the Sun, also called the Torreon.Then we'll participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, The Sacred Sun Dial the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds.
The Sun Gates of Machu Picchu boast a picture - perfect vantage point overlooking Peru's most famous ruins. Tourists flock to this outcrop high in the Andes Mountains to enjoy the same view featured on virtually every postcard depicting the Machu Picchu citadel. Also known as Intipunku, the Sun Gates consists of two stones perched at a narrow passage in the crevice of the mountain just above Machu Picchu. The sun shines brilliantly through this portal each day when it rises -- hence the name. Back to Cusco

Day 14: Cusco - Lima - City Tours
a.m. Transfer to Cusco Airport for your fly to Lima upon arrivel transfer to the selected hotel today we wil have guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and important sites in Lima, the " City of Kings ". The tour includes Lima's Historical Centre, passing by Plaza San Martin, The Main Plaza, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Religious Art Museum, the Church of Santo Domingo, with the tombs of Santa Rosa and San Martin de Porras, and Lima's Colonial Balconies. We will visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental complex of Colonial Art in America and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We will also visit El Olivar Park with olive trees brought from Spain in the XVth Century, the Central Park of Miraflores and Larcomar, a symbol of modern Lima and a tourist and entertainment centre as well as a privileged site to enjoy an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean.
