Fishing Adventure

Suriname has a rich variety of fish in the rivers. During this tour you get the chance to go fishing on the mouth (upper part) of the Surinameriver.

Surinamerivier is estimate 480km long in the central and East part of Suriname.

We start fishing from the confluence point of the Suriname- & Commewijneriver. From there on we will try to catch some fishes and after that move to other locations.

Types of fishes that you can catch:

• Kodokoe(bressou sea catfish)
• Barba-mang(coco sea catfish)
• Sparie maka(stingray)
• Katie(Cathfish)
• Gramborgoe(goliath grouper)
• Snoek(Pike)
• Passisi(passany sea catfish)

Duration: 8:00AM - 4:00PM

• Fishing rod(if you have your own you can use that also)
• Bait

Safety comes first every boat has life jackets and an Emergency Medical Kit(EHBO)
